IN AIR

IN AIR Innherred artist in Residence, Co-Production and Production. Dans i Trøndelag has, from 2018, an application based professionalized residence program, which has come as continuation and development of our former residence project. The program has been named IN AIR.

IN AIR addresses itself to professional dancers / performing artists. We invite productions with a clear artistic and thematic goal. We especially welcome projects on contemporary dance and performing arts for children and youth, to apply. IN AIR is also open for interdisciplinary projects. We receive productions for 2-4 weeks. The residence space assumes that the project has its own means of production.

The following facilities are offered:

• Rehearsal room at the Black box at Turnéteatret i Trøndelag (TiT)

• Stereo PA

• Accommodation

• Travels and car rental can be arranged further.

• Marketing of the project in collaboration with the artists.

• Technical assistance can be rented through Dans in Trøndelag's agreement with Turnéteatret i Trøndelag (TiT).

Dans i Trøndelag (DiT) can also be a link between professional companies who wish to rent production premises and accommodation at Turnéteatret i Trøndelag (TiT).

DiT, via its location at the theater house, is part of the cultural quarter around Johannes Minsaas Plass in the center of Verdal. Together with TIT and Skuespillerutdanninga (Acting Education), we can contribute to the creation of a professional community within performing arts. A community where dance artists can contribute to, exchange ideas and develop productions. The location allows us for a direct 45 min transport from Værnes / Trondheim airport by local train and with frequent departures.
